About The Red Feather Theatre Company

The goals of The Red Feather Theatre Company are:
1) To produce student playwrights and their works. Masks, Love, and Pirates by RHS Senior Hannah Kashmar was the premiere production of Red Feather.
2) To produce student directed plays. Masks, Love, and Pirates was directed by RHS Junior, Ellyn Koehler.
3) To create and maintain a parent/community/school partnership in everything produced by Red Feather.
4) To involve as many students, parents , and community members as possible, throughout the production process.
5) To also produce high quality productions, especially the classics.

The Red Feather Theatre Company is a community and school partnership. Parent and community participation is encouraged.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Portales, NM to participate in a workshop and performances of our latest play, "Masks, Love and Pirates". While at the workshop, the students learned more about the theater and where Hannah's play and the production received the highest awards of Superior for original work, direction, costume, and stage combat at The ENMU Portales Drama Festival this past week....

The Red Feather Theatre Company performs in the Performing Arts Center at the Ruidoso High School.
All Performances are staffed by students of Ruidoso High School including the Tech crew for Lighting, Sound and Backstage.
